The HELLAS books sailed across the ocean. They braved pirate attacks, and the Kraken. They sailed through the dangerous Canal of Panama and avoided the twin threats of Scylla and Karibdis. They dodged the Sirens, narrowly escaped the Lotus Eaters, and even suffered the wrath of Hoseidon himself... but at long last, the books have arrived at their destination.

What that means to you is this:

Barring extraordinary or extraterrestrial events, HELLAS Pre-Orders should begin shipping from our warehouse on Monday, December 1 (they would have gone out earlier, but American Thanksgiving is causing some scheduling snafus).

Thanks to everyone for preordering the HELLAS role-playing game. Your preorders will help make the role-playing game and all other future HELLAS products a success -- we have lots planned!

I wanted to give everyone who ordered -- or is anticipating a book -- a heads up, to keep you all in the loop.

At this point, the books are printed, bound and on their way overseas. Right now it looks like it will take a bit longer than expected to get to you; we had been hoping for mid-to-late September, but now it looks more like early October. Retailers and distributors have already been looped in, and now you know too. And as G.I. Joe used to say, knowing is half the battle.

Unless there is freak weather or an attack by a giant atomic fire breathing lizards, I don't expect any further delays.
