The Known Worlds

I have a new version of the HELLAS map that can be found on our Downloads page. It shows the major Slipspace routes as well as the major planets. Hopefully it will be of use to everyone who plays the game. Please let me know what you think in the forums

Enjoy!

What's next for HELLAS?

The core book is done and put to bed and Gen Con is over. Mike and I paused for a second and took a breath.

*sigh*

WOW, that was quick.

So far everything looks good for HELLAS. Preorders are fantastic, Gen Con was great, and distributors are emailing me looking for it.
Things are a bit overwhelming and if I don't take a step back and pause I think I might get caught up in the hype. I have to press myself to stay true to what Mike and I set out to do. I have to stay hungry and aggressive in what I hope to accomplish and I cant allow myself to think I'm a genius or the next big thing. I'm a very lucky geek who has a creative outlet that allows him to share.

What's next is exploring the world and the people of HELLAS. Mike and I plan on exploring the races a bit more in depth and introducing two that are mentioned in the core book, but given very little face time.

The next two books won't be as huge as the core book and hopefully will be valuable to both the players and game masters. It's tricky adding another layer of detail without constricting player creativity. My goal is to give just enough attention without going overboard. I want everyone who plays HELLAS to make the game their own unique world.

The next book's working title is HELLAS: Princes of the Universe and the other is called the HELLAS: the Wine Dark Void.

Princes of the Universe deals with the heroes of HELLAS (the PCs), the rulers of key systems, and the villains who maneuver and politic for their own ends.

The Wine Dark Void deals with Slipspace, the flora and fauna there, and the ships that sail those aetheric seas.

Both books will include adventures and story elements to be used and whatever wlese we may think fits.

If anyone has suggestions on what they would like to see, please feel free to stop by the forums and have your say. The books we write sometime evolve and change because of ingenious suggestions presented to us, so don't be shy
